We at Australian Window Fashions are thrilled to share the results of our recent project in the beautiful town of Inverleigh, just a stone’s throw from Geelong. Our client approached us with a vision: to create a window treatment that struck the perfect balance between traditional elegance and modern sophistication. We were excited to take on the challenge and bring their dream to life.
The main feature of the living space was a large window overlooking the garden. Our client desired a solution that offered both privacy and suited the colour palette of the room. To achieve this, we recommended a blockout s-fold curtain for the front layer. The s-fold style, with its soft, uniform waves, provided a contemporary feel while the blockout fabric ensured complete privacy and light control – perfect for those cozy movie nights or lazy Sunday sleep-ins.
For the back layer, we opted for a more traditional rod pocket sheer curtain in colour ‘Latte’. The delicate, flowing fabric added a touch of romance and diffused the natural light beautifully, creating a soft, inviting ambiance. This combination of the modern s-fold and the classic rod pocket sheer created a stunning visual contrast, perfectly capturing the client’s desired aesthetic.
To complete the look, we also supplied and installed a roman blind in the same blockout fabric for a smaller side window. This ensured a cohesive design throughout the room and offered additional light control and privacy when needed.
